How to get your bank statement
MyFulus reads the statement file your bank already gives you. You never connect your bank or share a login — you just need the file. Here is where to find it.
The fastest way: check your email
Most banks already email you a statement every month. Search your inbox for statement or for your bank’s name. If you find the PDF, you are done — save the attachment and upload it. Grab two or three months while you are there.
From your bank’s app
Sign in and look for Statements, eStatements or Account statement — usually under your account’s details or in the services menu. Pick a month, download the PDF, and save it to your phone. Repeat for the last two or three months.
From online banking on a computer
The website usually offers the same statements, and often lets you export a period as CSV or Excel as well. Either works — MyFulus reads PDF and CSV alike.
If the PDF asks for a password
Many banks lock emailed statements with a password — often your date of birth or part of your card number; the bank’s email says which. MyFulus cannot read a locked file, and refusing it costs you nothing: a locked statement never uses up a scan.
To make a copy without the password: open the PDF and enter the password, then use Print and choose Save as PDF. The saved copy opens without a password — upload that one.
What to upload
- Two or three months together. A subscription only shows up once we watch it charge you more than once — one month on its own cannot show what repeats.
- PDF or CSV, up to 10 MB each, up to six files at once.
- Overlapping months are safe. If two statements cover the same week, nothing is counted twice.
We never ask for your bank login, your statements never train AI, and you can delete everything at any time.
