How the conversion is checked
Most statements print a running balance beside each line, an opening and a closing balance, or totals for the period. Every converted line has to agree with them exactly. If they agree, you see that it was checked; if they do not, you see which lines to compare with your statement, on screen and in the Excel file. If a statement prints none of them, you are told it could not be checked. See an example.
Quick answers
BBK exports Excel already. Why convert?
If you can export from BBK's online or mobile banking, do. The converter is for the PDF statement you already have or were sent, and it checks the lines against the statement's own balances.
Are three-decimal BHD amounts kept?
Yes. Bahraini dinar amounts keep their third decimal place in the Excel and CSV files; nothing is rounded to two.
Is MyFulus connected to BBK?
No. MyFulus is not connected to, partnered with or endorsed by BBK. It reads the statement file you download yourself, and it never asks for your online-banking login.
