The best bank statement converters for Gulf banks, compared

By Amman Abbasi • Every product’s site read on Nov 3, 2026

We make MyFulus, one of the eight tools below, so read this knowing that. Every fact about another product is what its own website said on the date above, with the link printed, and where its pages say nothing the table says so. MyFulus’s weaknesses are listed too.

The short answer: which to use

  • Free with no daily limit, read on your device when it can be:

    StatementEasy

It says no sign-up, no page limit and no daily limit, and that most statements are read in your browser and never sent.

  • Free with no account, read a different way, and nothing kept even when a read fails:

    MyFulus

3 statements a day of up to 10 pages each, in every format. An AI model reads the statement and fixed arithmetic checks every line against it. The file is never written to disk.

  • Nothing may leave your device:

    BayanSheet

It says the conversion runs in your browser and the file is never uploaded, and you can test that by going offline. Excel and CSV only.

  • A scan or a phone photo:

    StatementEasy, QuickTax, StatementEdge or DocuClipper

All four say they read scans. MyFulus and BayanSheet refuse them.

  • A file for Zoho Books:

    MyFulus

A CSV in the layout Zoho Books imports, which none of the other pages we read offers.

  • A file for QuickBooks or Xero:

    MyFulus, StatementEasy, StatementEdge or DocuClipper

MyFulus writes CSV layouts for both. The others also export .qbo files, and DocuClipper syncs directly.

  • A password-locked PDF from a Gulf bank:

    MyFulus, StatementEasy, BayanSheet or QuickTax

All four say they open it when you enter the password. BayanSheet and StatementEasy say they do so in your browser; MyFulus and QuickTax on a server. ChatGPT refused one in our test.

  • A firm with a vendor security review, or batches of 100 files:

    DocuClipper

It says it holds a SOC 2 Type II report and takes up to 100 files at a time. MyFulus has no such report.

  • Data that must stay in the EU:

    StatementEdge

It says storage and compute are in Frankfurt, and its free plan includes a REST API. MyFulus runs in the United States and has no API.

When MyFulus is the wrong choice

  • You convert more than the free allowance covers and do not want to pay. StatementEasy says it has no limits.
  • The statement must not leave your device. MyFulus reads it on a server, and its text goes to an AI model.
  • It is a scan or a photo. MyFulus reads digital PDF and CSV files only.
  • Your firm needs a security certification from its vendors. MyFulus has none.
  • You need an API, or batches larger than 6 files at a time.
  • You want a product with a long record. MyFulus launched in 2026 and few people have used it yet.

What is left is the case it was built for: a digital statement from a Gulf bank, often password-locked, sometimes with Arabic lines or three-decimal amounts, that you want in a spreadsheet or accounting software today, for free or for very little, with every line checked. About MyFulus.

How to test any converter on your own statement

A claim on a website, this one included, proves less than ten minutes with a statement you know. A conversion with one line missing looks exactly like a complete one, so:

  1. Add it up. The opening balance, plus every credit, minus every debit, must equal the printed closing balance to the last fils or cent.
  2. Look at a date after the 12th. A tool that reads day and month the wrong way round gets the 1st to the 12th plausibly wrong, and fails or shifts the rest.
  3. Check the decimals. Kuwaiti, Bahraini and Omani amounts have three. A tool that rounds them to two no longer adds up.
  4. Read an Arabic line, if your statement has any, against the PDF.
  5. Read what it keeps. Look in its privacy policy for how long your file stays on its servers, and who else reads it. If it does not say, assume it keeps everything.

You may not need a converter at all. Your bank’s own export and Excel’s PDF import are both free, and desktop PDF software keeps the file on your computer; see how to convert a bank statement PDF to Excel. A general AI assistant can read one too, with limits worth knowing: can ChatGPT convert a bank statement to Excel?

Try MyFulus on your own statement

No account and no email. Then run the checks above on the result.

Never saved: your file is read in memory, not written to disk or a database, and the converted lines are deleted after 60 minutes — or as soon as you press Delete.

Quick answers

What is the best bank statement converter for UAE banks?

It depends on what you need. Free with no limits and read in your browser first: StatementEasy. If nothing may leave your device: BayanSheet. For Zoho Books, or nothing kept even when a read fails: MyFulus, which we make. For scans: StatementEasy, QuickTax, StatementEdge or DocuClipper. For an accounting firm that needs a SOC 2 report: DocuClipper.

Which bank statement converter is free with no sign-up?

StatementEasy says it has no limits. MyFulus gives 3 statements a day of up to 10 pages each. StatementEdge gives 7 pages a day, BankStatementConverter.com 1 page a day, and BayanSheet about 10 pages in all. QuickTax needs no account but sends the file to an email address.

Which bank statement converter does not upload my file?

BayanSheet says the conversion runs in your browser and the file is never uploaded. StatementEasy says most statements are read in your browser, and only one it cannot read goes to its server. Every other tool on this page reads the file on a server, MyFulus included. Desktop PDF software also keeps the file on your computer, but you then check the totals yourself.

Which converters open a password-protected bank statement?

MyFulus, StatementEasy, BayanSheet and QuickTax say they open it when you enter the password. StatementEdge lists a separate password remover. Kashfbank, DocuClipper and BankStatementConverter.com do not mention locked files on the pages we read.

Which converters read scanned statements?

StatementEasy, QuickTax, StatementEdge and DocuClipper say they do. MyFulus and BayanSheet refuse them. Kashfbank and BankStatementConverter.com do not say on the pages we read.

Which converter makes a file for Zoho Books?

MyFulus writes a CSV in the layout Zoho Books imports. BayanSheet lists Zoho as on its roadmap, and none of the other pages we read names it.

Should I trust a comparison written by one of the products?

Check it. We make MyFulus and would like you to use it. Every fact about another product is what its own site said on the date printed here, with the link beside it, and where its pages say nothing the table says so. If something is out of date, email us and we will correct it.
