What Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) says about its statements
- Where to get it
- "Just log-in and review it under E-statement, you will find all your statements sorted by date." SAB adds that "you can view them instantly in a PDF format". (Source: SAB: E-statement.)
- Not in the app
- SAB's registration terms say "The e-statement and e-advice facilities are not available through Mobile Banking." (Source: SAB: Terms and conditions for SAB Online and SAB Mobile (PDF).)

How the conversion is checked
Most statements print a running balance beside each line, an opening and a closing balance, or totals for the period. Every converted line has to agree with them exactly. If they agree, you see that it was checked; if they do not, you see which lines to compare with your statement, on screen and in the Excel file. If a statement prints none of them, you are told it could not be checked. See an example.
Quick answers
Can I download my SAB statement as Excel?
SAB's website names PDF as the statement format, so the PDF is what most customers have. Convert it here into Excel, CSV, or a file QuickBooks, Xero or Zoho Books imports.
Will the Arabic on my SAB statement survive?
Arabic descriptions come through exactly as printed on bilingual statements and Arabic-only exports, and the Excel file opens right to left when most of its lines are Arabic. A PDF printed wholly in Arabic has not been tested.
Is MyFulus connected to SAB?
No. MyFulus is not connected to, partnered with or endorsed by SAB. It reads the statement file you download yourself, and it never asks for your online-banking login.
