What First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) says about its statements
- The password (account e-statements)
- FAB: "Your e-statement password is made up of the last four digits of your account number" followed by the day and month of your date of birth (DDMM) — for an account ending 1234 and a birthday of 1 February, the 8-digit password is 12340102. FAB's page states this for account e-statements; it does not cover card statements. (Source: FAB: Help and support.)
Quoted from First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)’s own website, last read on Nov 3, 2026. Banks change their apps and their rules; if your statement email says something different, the email is right. MyFulus is not connected to, partnered with or endorsed by First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB).
How the conversion is checked
Most statements print a running balance beside each line, an opening and a closing balance, or totals for the period. Every converted line has to agree with them exactly. If they agree, you see that it was checked; if they do not, you see which lines to compare with your statement, on screen and in the Excel file. If a statement prints none of them, you are told it could not be checked. See an example.
Quick answers
What is the password for my FAB account e-statement?
FAB says it is the last four digits of your account number followed by the day and month of your date of birth as DDMM — eight digits, for example 12340102. Enter it when the converter asks; it is used once and never stored.
Does the same rule work for my FAB credit card statement?
FAB's page gives the rule for account e-statements only. For a card statement, use the password the statement email gives.
Is MyFulus connected to FAB?
No. MyFulus is not connected to, partnered with or endorsed by FAB. It reads the statement file you download yourself, and it never asks for your online-banking login.
