What Emirates NBD says about its statements
- How the statement arrives
- Emirates NBD says the e-statement "is delivered to you on your email address in the same frequency of your paper statement". (Source: Emirates NBD: e-Statements.)
- The password (account e-statements)
- Emirates NBD: "the e-Statement is password protected, and the password is the primary CIF ID. The CIF ID is the middle 8 digits of your account number." If it is refused, the same page lists the usual causes: a typing error, a space after the number, or the CIF of a different account. The rule is given for account e-statements; for a card statement, use the password the statement email gives. (Source: Emirates NBD: e-Statements.)
- Excel and CSV from the bank
- For businesses, Emirates NBD's businessONLINE guide says statements can be downloaded "in the following formats – PDF Excel CSV". Its personal pages name the PDF. (Source: Emirates NBD: businessONLINE, how to access your statements (PDF).)

How the conversion is checked
Most statements print a running balance beside each line, an opening and a closing balance, or totals for the period. Every converted line has to agree with them exactly. If they agree, you see that it was checked; if they do not, you see which lines to compare with your statement, on screen and in the Excel file. If a statement prints none of them, you are told it could not be checked. See an example.
Quick answers
What is the password for my Emirates NBD e-statement?
For an account e-statement, Emirates NBD says it is your primary CIF ID — the middle 8 digits of your account number. If it is refused, check for a typing error or a trailing space, and that the CIF is the one for the account the statement belongs to. For a credit card statement, use the password the statement email gives. Enter it when the converter asks; it is used once to open the file and never stored.
Can I get my Emirates NBD statement as Excel?
Business customers can download Excel or CSV from businessONLINE, according to Emirates NBD's guide. For a personal statement, the PDF is what you have — convert it here into Excel, CSV, or a file for QuickBooks, Xero or Zoho Books.
Is MyFulus connected to Emirates NBD?
No. MyFulus is not connected to, partnered with or endorsed by Emirates NBD. It reads the statement file you download yourself, and it never asks for your online-banking login.
