What Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) says about its statements
- The password (account e-statements)
- ADIB's notice says to "key in the first 4 letters of your name, (no spaces & lowercase), followed by the date, month and the last two digits of the year of your birth (DDMMYY)." Its examples: Mohammed Hamad, born 22-10-1974, is moha221074; Ali Ahmed, born 01-02-2001, is alia010201. The notice is about account e-statements; it does not cover card statements. How the conversion is checked
Most statements print a running balance beside each line, an opening and a closing balance, or totals for the period. Every converted line has to agree with them exactly. If they agree, you see that it was checked; if they do not, you see which lines to compare with your statement, on screen and in the Excel file. If a statement prints none of them, you are told it could not be checked. See an example.
Quick answers
What is the password for my ADIB account e-statement?
ADIB says it is the first 4 letters of your name, with no spaces and in lowercase, followed by your date of birth as DDMMYY: moha221074 for Mohammed Hamad born 22-10-1974, and alia010201 for Ali Ahmed born 01-02-2001. Enter it when the converter asks; it is used once and never stored.
Does the same rule work for my ADIB card statement?
ADIB's notice gives the rule for account e-statements. For a card statement, look in the email that delivered it, or ask ADIB.
Is MyFulus connected to ADIB?
No. MyFulus is not connected to, partnered with or endorsed by ADIB. It reads the statement file you download yourself, and it never asks for your online-banking login.
