What Emirates Islamic says about its statements
- How the statement arrives
- "Once you have an account with us, you will receive a free monthly e-Statement to your registered email address." (Source: Emirates Islamic: All about your account statement.)
- The password (account e-statements)
- Asked whether the e-statement is password protected, Emirates Islamic answers: "Yes, it is. In the email you receive, you will find instructions on how to access your e-Statement." It does not publish the rule on that page. (Source: Emirates Islamic: All about your account statement.)
- The password (card statements)
- Of card e-statements it says: "Your e-statement will be sent to your registered email address by default." and "they’re password protected so no one but you can access them." (Source: Emirates Islamic: Your credit card statement.)
- Excel and CSV from the bank
- For businesses, its businessONLINE guide says "Statements are available on businessONLINE in the following formats" and lists PDF, Excel and CSV. Its personal pages name no file format. (Source: Emirates Islamic: businessONLINE, download statements (PDF).)

How the conversion is checked
Most statements print a running balance beside each line, an opening and a closing balance, or totals for the period. Every converted line has to agree with them exactly. If they agree, you see that it was checked; if they do not, you see which lines to compare with your statement, on screen and in the Excel file. If a statement prints none of them, you are told it could not be checked. See an example.
Quick answers
What is the password for my Emirates Islamic e-statement?
Emirates Islamic says the email you receive has the instructions, and does not publish the rule on its website. Enter the password when the converter asks; it is used once to open the file and never stored.
Can I get my Emirates Islamic statement as Excel?
Business customers can download Excel or CSV from businessONLINE, according to its guide. For a personal statement, convert the PDF here into Excel, CSV, or a file for QuickBooks, Xero or Zoho Books.
Is MyFulus connected to Emirates Islamic?
No. MyFulus is not connected to, partnered with or endorsed by Emirates Islamic. It reads the statement file you download yourself, and it never asks for your online-banking login.
